Does gobber have a crush on Eret?

Eret – By the events of the third film, Gobber seems to have developed a physical attraction to Eret. He candidly tells him that he has the body of a “Norse God”, and then brazenly tries to draw Eret’s attention to his own body by flexing and saying that he does, too.

A short time later, Gobber is seen watching Eret walk by, shamelessly admiring what he sees. Then at the wedding, Gobber’s wooden hand, which is holding flowers, accidentally flies off and lands in Eret’s hands; a nod to the tradition of throwing the wedding bouquet. Eret doesn’t appear to return the sentiment, but admires Gobber as if he’s an older family member.

He respects him as such, and is seen comforting the weeping older man after the dragons leave.

How to Train Your Dragon King of all Dragons?

Behavior and Personality – Given their unique abilities of manipulation of dragon minds if needed, and the capacity to be a provider and protector for smaller dragons, Bewilderbeasts are naturally inclined to become the alpha in a dominance hierarchy amongst all dragon kind.

  1. They are capable of providing food, protection, and shelter for others and, if needed, can use mind manipulation.
  2. Wild or naturally raised Bewilderbeasts appear to have an authoritative yet reclusive and non-aggressive demeanor.
  3. This leads the Bewilderbeast species to be referred to the “King of all Dragons”.

Dragons under their care may be referred to as ‘Primals’, according to Dragons: Rise of Berk, Due to their small numbers and impressive abilities, Bewilderbeasts are seldom pushed to aggression, except where the dragons under their care are threatened or are challenged for an alpha position.

What is Toothless based on?

(2010) – Trivia – IMDb The hesitation Toothless shows during the famous “touch” scene was actually an animation error. However, it looked so perfect that the animators chose to leave it in the film. In the book of “How to Train Your Dragon,” Hiccup does not have a love interest. Furthermore, Toothless, the dragon in the book, is about the size of the Terrible Terror breed, and he is also green and red, not black. Toothless also got his name because when Hiccup first found him, he had no teeth. He grew one tooth, only to lose it shortly later. The producers decided, with the approval of author, that it would be more cinematic to make Toothless large enough to be ridden as a flying mount. As such, Toothless was completely redesigned as a rare Night Fury, a highly intelligent breed of dragon evolved for speed and stealth. His personal name, in the film, derives from Hiccup’s observation about how his teeth are normally retracted into his jaws so they don’t interfere with his fire breathing, which is typically projected as an explosive pulse. The appearance and personality of Toothless was inspired by cats, dogs, and horses. The face also bears some resemblance to the giant salamander, the largest amphibian in the world. The shape of his face is also reported to have been based on the face of Stitch from, also directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois. Sanders and DeBlois used to work for Walt Disney Pictures as studio members until 2007 when they joined DreamWorks Animation to work on most films starting with, The Night Fury dragon species was originally going to be more wolf-like in appearance. Instead, a DreamWorks employee’s computer screen saver of a black leopard inspired the film’s creators to make Toothless more feline in appearance. Due to popularity from this films release, many animal shelters reported that many black cats were adopted & named ‘Toothless’. : the narrator of the How To Train Your Dragon audio book series, provides the voice of Spitelout, though he is not credited. Why does Dagur call Hiccup his brother?

Why does dagur call hiccup brother. | Fandom Hiccup only called dagur brother at the last episode of season 4.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 1 In the episode “Have Dragon Will Travel” from “Dragons: Race To The Edge”, Heather said her father gave her a horn, and it had hiccups dads chief seal on it, and when she was about to kill dagur, hiccup stopped her and told her she is dagur and hiccups brother, so I think hiccup, dagur, and heather are siblings I wish they where all 3 siblings heather dagur and hiccup that would be a awsome storyline They aren’t related it’s a joke.

  • That was made clear when daggur and hiccup were on that islan; “She’s blood hiccup, that makes us closer then you and me.” I was rewatchin Dragons defenders of berk and Dagur started to call Hiccup brother.
  • But in the first episode Dagur appered in Hiccup was not thrilled and he was not known as his brother By “Brother” I know him to be referencing “brother in arms”, a close camaraderie within groups of fighters who trust each other with their lives.

I Don’t see Daggur and Hiccup ever having that though which is why it makes no sense for Daggur to call him brother even from that perspective.2 If Dagger and Hiccup would know each other as youth (because of the both being future leaders and stuff) then that might be a contributing factor to why he calls him brother.

Or of course it’s just one of those things guys do ;-; In the episode dire straits in Dragons race to the edge trader Johan calls his friends from the trading business his brothers so I’m guessing it’s probably just like that. they know each other very well. or maybe dagger started calling that to them in their youth because he’s about three or four years older than hiccup sorry it became a nickname and it just stuck.

just out of love. Like when you call someone bro) But Hiccup didn’t like Dagur and whatever. We all know. But when Dagur joined the Dragon Riders and helped them, then in that one episode Hiccup recognised Dagur heroism and accepted him as a brother (edited by Bea-Artist) 0 There was an episode from Riders of Defenders of Berk that I can only remember vaguely, but at one point Hiccup is trying to avoid a war with the Berserkers and so when Daggur arrives, they see Toothless and Hiccup pretends he is there to hunt dragons, and then Daggur begins to call him brother, likely because they were “hunting” together.

Is Toothless still the Alpha?

Toothless – Toothless is a male Night Fury and the current Alpha of the dragons as of the epilogue of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World,

Who is stronger thunder or Toothless?

Thunder and Toothless in comparison to each other | Fandom Honestly Toothless is infinitely loveable and awesome that’s indefinite. Even though Toothless is incredibly awesome and powerful Thunder is still very loveable and awesome as well. Personally I dont find any negativity out of either of them regardless and love both of them endlessly Toothless may be more stronger but their both loveable adorable and awesome and they have great sense of Heart and Soul. As for their slight physical differences, their backs, wings, legs, ears and claws are very alike. On the other hand after the evolution over the 1300 years all the Night Lights appear to have adapted and evolved and developed new features and abilities such as their new unique tail wings they each have compared to each other like thunders father mother and the elder. Another thing is Thunders head appears somewhat differently shaped compared to Toothless. Toothless’s snout makes his head a little more elongated and sharp looking. A reason why I think the slight facial differences make sense is because Thunder isn’t entirely Night Fury hes a Night Light and also half Light Fury and Light Furies appear to have less longer heads compared to Night Furies. Thunders snout seems to make his head ever so slightly longer than a Light Fury but slightly less longer than Night Furies so the way his face looks does just about make him seem like the hybrid Night Light that hes suppose to be. Thunder may not have the same level of strength as Toothless YET but hes doing very well with his current amount of power and right now he’s technically younger than Toothless was in movie 2 when he gained the ability Blue Alpha and he’s getting stronger with every day and everything he goes through with Tom eventually in the future when he gets a little older he actually could get much closer to gaining a special Fury Dragon ability and become much more powerful than he already is.

And honestly regardless of his current amount of power his heart and soul are always in the right place and hes also a perfect big brother and great at protecting his little siblings and his endless devotion to respecting and protecting his ancestors and their history is a very selfless and soulful thing to do if Toothless and Luna could meet him they would be so proud of him as their great descendant and everything he has done for his family.

Thunder really does take after his 10X great grandfather. : Thunder and Toothless in comparison to each other | Fandom

Is Toothless the only Night Fury?

Development –

We had previously thought of him as wolf-like, but then we discovered a big cat worked better.
— Dean DeBlois, Director

The Night Fury was originally inspired by a black panther screensaver on one of the story artist’s monitors. DeBlois says that the image was ‘striking and electrifying, with those eyes staring out from the darkest black face’. The Night Fury’s personality, appearance, and behavior is a mix of a horse, wombat, kangaroo, bat, snake, dog, cat, panther, and a bird of prey.

We tested specularity and reflectivity to show detail that would read well in everything from crisp moonlight to foggy or smoky scenes.
— Sabrina Riegel, Head of Surfacing

Sabrina adds that they had created a texture in which the Night Fury’s skin resembled more of that of a shark or stingray, instead of a reptile’s. It was also said to be inspired by that of a bat. This dragon species was carefully crafted to make sure its intelligence and emotional personality came through without anthropomorphizing it.

The Night Fury’s behavior, similar to that of common pets, —cats, dogs, and horses—, were intended to evoke relatable emotions from viewers. To study its behavior in the making of Gift of the Night Fury, an animator stuck a ball of tape onto his cat’s tail and filmed its reaction. The growls and croons of Night Furies and Toothless are a combination of various sounds, says Supervising Sound Designer Randy Thom, including his own voice, elephants, horses, tigers, domestic cats, and a jet engine.

Considering that Toothless, the only Night Fury, as well as the main dragon character, needed to be very expressive, the Night Fury has significantly much more control on its face than other dragons, who are not shown to be able to smile (other than the Light Fury who shares this ability).

Why does Eret wear glasses?

Alastair (better known online as Eret ), is an English gaming YouTuber known for playing Minecraft on YouTube and Twitch. They have competed in several MC Championships, having won MCC7 and MCC13. Eret is the seventeenth member of the Dream SMP, joining on July 19, 2020.

They are the king of the Dream SMP and a former revolutionary of L’Manberg. Though they were briefly removed from the position during the Manberg vs Pogtopia War up until the Dethronement Fallout, they have since reclaimed their royal title from Dream. Due to their turncoat actions in the Dream Team SMP vs.

L’Manberg War, they briefly served as an antagonist to L’Manberg, and were considered by many as a traitor. They have since made an effort to redeem themself, assisting Pogtopia in The Manberg Rebellion, and attempting to revive one of the people they hurt, Wilbur Soot.

Physiology Eret is a human with light skin, brown hair, and pure white eyes. They always wear sunglasses to cover their eyes, which are white due to their relation with Herobrine. They wear a crown, a red coat, a gray shirt, black pants, and black shoes. Foolish claims that they did not wear sunglasses before joining the Dream SMP.

Personality Despite their betrayal of L’Manberg, Eret is a very kind and caring individual. They often leave pink wool in people’s chests with the message “You Matter,” and usually spends their time building. Their most substantial build is their castle, also known as the Pride Palace.

  • Eret enjoys talking to many of the members of the server, as they are very amiable, and willing to speak to anyone no matter what past or previous conflicts they may have had.
  • They even allowed HBomb to stay in their castle temporarily.
  • Eret has a strong sense of justice, and feels the need to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves.

Notably, Eret deeply regrets their betrayal, as they wanted to help Pogtopia in their efforts. Unfortunately, Eret got rejected almost every time they tried to help Pogtopia, as their betrayal always got brought up. Eret is trying to prove their loyalty, and while this is challenging, they are willing to do what they can in order to show that they truly wants to support people.

Eret works towards the greater good and wants to bring the SMP back to its glory days and use their position as king to do so, but has been fairly directionless in their attempts ever since their original betrayal and has become increasingly indifferent towards the crown as it has caused others, such as the Anarchists, to exclude them from certain matters despite them only wanting to help.

Wilbur has said that Eret’s D&D alignment is chaotic neutral. “Eret is chaotic neutral. Eret wants only to succeed in his world. He betrays L’Manberg early, but upon seeing it no longer benefit him or his wants/goals, he betrays again back into Pogtopia.

He is satisfied only when he is succeeding (something he does well) ” —Wilbur on Reddit Flaws Eret’s main flaw is their need to succeed. They betrayed their friends to become king when they thought Dream would win, but betrayed Dream when they saw that Pogtopia was more likely to win the war. They would go to whichever side is more likely to win, then betray them when they lose.

They are reluctant to hurt their friends, but will ultimately put their own success over them in the end. This, however, has changed, as they have decided that they want to use their position as king for good and to protect the other members of the server.

However, they fail to see that this is likely a futile effort, as in the end, the position of king doesn’t actually give any power and is only a meaningless title. History Early Life Not much is known about Eret’s early life, as they do not remember most of it. They were supposedly close with Foolish, and they cleared out a “wither cult” as well as “trolls” and that the Red Banquet was not the first party the duo had been to, and to be wary.

Foolish’s statements have implied that Eret is centuries old, and that this may be tied to their relations with Herobrine. Early Dream SMP Arc Before the war, Eret built their iconic castle and partook in killing the first Withers of the server. Eret and Fundy started a prank war that lasted for several streams, which was initially griefing each other, but eventually turned into a fun prank war.

  1. L’Manberg Independence Arc Dream Team SMP vs.
  2. L’Manberg War At the beginning of the war, Eret joined L’Manberg’s side, building up the walls of L’Manberg and preparing the nation for war.
  3. However, Dream made a deal with Eret, where Eret would become king of Dream SMP if they betrayed L’Manberg.
  4. Eret agreed to the terms, as they believed that it would redirect the server into a state of peace, and was a win-win situation.

Eret then lead the L’Manbergians into the Final Control Room, where they said their famous quote, “Down with the revolution, boys! It was never meant to be.” After the betrayal, Wilbur and Eret had a negative relationship, but Eret realized the selfishness of their actions, and their relationship with the people they betrayed has since mended.

To never forget that day, they placed a book titled “I’m Sorry” in Wilbur’s chest in their recreation of the Final Control Room for the museum. Post-War After the war, Eret used their authority as king to build giant watch towers on the edge of L’Manberg’s borders, which overlooked the area and kept the nation in check.

The prank war with Fundy was still going on, and Fundy pranked the towers. Eret responded by rebuilding them with obsidian pillars. Later, Fundy covered the windows of the towers with rainbows, and Eret was pleased, so they commissioned BadBoyHalo to build a Fundy statue next to his base as a positive prank.

  1. They also made friends with the newest L’Manberg member, Niki Nihachu, who didn’t care that they betrayed her country.
  2. Eret also participated in Dream’s $5000 Deal or No Deal event on the server.2020 L’Manberg Election During the election, Eret supported Coconut2020 and protested alongside Niki against Schlatt when he won.

Manberg Rebellion Arc Electoral Fallout As king of Dream SMP, Eret was instructed by Dream to maintain a neutral position and to distance themself from political turmoil. Eret ignored these instructions in favor of his developing morals, and warned Schlatt about destroying history and offered support to Pogtopia.

  • However, Tommy and Wilbur rejected the help, as they still didn’t trust them after their betrayal.
  • Niki was imprisoned for openly supporting Pogtopia, and they secretly helped her escape.
  • Then, Eret publicly supported her afterwards, despite being a known enemy of Manberg.
  • Fundy trusted Eret and told them about his plot to take Manberg down from the inside.

Near the Manberg Festival, Eret and Niki worked together on a plot to blow up the Second White House. Post-Manberg Festival Eret did not attend the festival, but soon became aware of support swaying to Pogtopia. Encouraged by this shift, Eret became more open about their support of Pogtopia.

  1. However, the only member willing to speak to them was Niki, who had joined in the wake of the festival.
  2. Eret found Dream’s old crossbow, and gifted it to Tommy in order to gain trust.
  3. Manberg vs.
  4. Pogtopia War In the war, Dream contacted Eret, stating that Eret was simply a figurehead and therefore shouldn’t take a stance.

Dream warned that Eret was only king because Dream said so. Eret came to the decision that it was better to help their friends reclaim L’Manberg than act as a figurehead. In response, Dream dethroned Eret and placed George in power, removing Eret from the throne.

Having lost their throne for the cause, Eret fled to Pogtopia, where they rallied with the other rebels and told them the news. Eret was awestruck when Techno revealed his impressive cache of weapons and supplies, taking a spare set of netherite armor with them. Eret was a soldier within the war, and fought alongside their comrades.

After the war was won, they listened to Tubbo’s presidential speech. They survived the massive TNT explosion under Manberg, as well as Technoblade’s withers. Dream later clarified that Eret still was allowed to live in their castle, but as a subject and not a ruler; Eret chose to stay, rather than find a new home.

MrBeast hid a Taco Bell gift card worth $10,000 on the server, which led to a wild scavenger hunt for the chest that lasted nearly 6 hours. Eret found the ‘Taco Bell’ book in the chest at the coordinates 6969, 60, 420 after searching for 3 hours. In honor of Eret winning the gift card, Bad made a statue of Eret with a pride flag standing atop the entrance to their castle.

Eret went on multiple building projects, building a museum, a café, and a stone pyramid.

Eret went exploring on the SMP and found a stronghold with an end portal.

Retribution Arc Reconstruction Era Dream noticed that George was constantly being attacked since he wasn’t making a neutral stance. Because Dream cared too much about George to see him continuing to get hurt, he decided that it would be best that Eret be re-crowned as king.

He dethroned George on December 3, 2020, and gave the kingship back to Eret, therefore giving them back ownership of their castle. Adoption of Fundy After the Manberg vs Pogtopia War, Eret considered adopting Fundy, even creating a Certificate of Adoption. However, he could not be officially adopted until there was official consent from Philza, who was Fundy’s nearest and alive relative.

While Philza had actually considered approving the adoption, Eret did not show up on the day of the adoption, disappointing Fundy and thus leading to Philza’s withhold of his signature. It was later revealed by Eret OOC that Fundy had not told them in advance regarding the adoption, and when they were notified, they were celebrating Thanksgiving and were unable to be on the server.

However, they also clarified that the adoption was not off, and that they are only waiting for an appropriate time when the three of them can officiate the adoption altogether. Doomsday War In the beginning of the war, it was just Tommy and Eret in the VC, waiting for their friends to come help them.

When Tommy died from fall damage, Eret supplied him with his lost stuff. They fought alongside L’Manberg, but after the war, tried to farm Wither Stars with Technoblade. They were shocked when Niki betrayed L’Manberg by burning down L’Mantree, quoting their famous saying ‘it was never meant to be’.

When they were unable to find Niki afterwards, Eret helped everyone finish off the remainder of the Withers, but knew the entire time that L’Manberg was completely gone. Wilbur’s Resurrection Eret assisted in trying to resurrect Ghostbur, researching similar ancient texts to Ph1LzA and building a shrine that contained many elements of Ghostbur’s life while alive.

Unfortunately, it didn’t go quite as planned, and Phil insisted that the texts he read included requiring a Totem of Undying. Ranboo and Phil went back to Technoblade’s cabin to search for a Totem, but when Eret went to join them, Phil asked them to leave due to their role as a king.

Eret, feeling insulted, went back to Dream SMP to find a totem on their own and reflected on their own views on government. They deeply regretted betraying their friends in the original war, and felt bad that they had earned their crown through betrayal. At the same time, they believe that their position as king lets them make things better, and they said that they try very hard not to order people around.

Wilbur inspired Eret’s own reign through his strong leadership, and Eret always felt as though Wilbur could spark hope in a way that they never could. That was why they worked so hard to bring him back, built a historical museum, and tried their best to help their people.

  • Ranboo and Phil called back, and they went off to find a totem together.
  • Post-Lockdown Return of the King After a period of absence, Eret returned to find their kingdom in disarray, with the Knights of Eret disbanded and the Eggpire encroaching on Dream SMP territory.
  • They set off to investigate the events that happened while they were gone, speaking to various members of the SMP.

Along the way, they tried to collect taxes, and enforced the taxes under threat of spawning withers. After these discussions, Eret returned to the historical museum project, memorializing events that they missed and expanding the world map to include Snowchester.

  1. Eret also met up with CaptainPuffy, who told them about her resistance to stop the Eggpire taking over everything – ‘Pro-Omelette’.
  2. Eret agreed to supply Pro-Omelette, but not to officially join it as they wish to keep their neutral position as king.
  3. Following Tommy’s death in prison, Eret constructed a statue of the child in his memory.

Talking with Foolish After some time, Eret reached out to Foolish Gamers, who joined after Eret took their leave, to discuss the Egg in-depth. Eret theorized that the Egg’s rapid growth could have been boosted by their attempt at resurrecting Wilbur, as the blood vines started to appear in force shortly after the event.

  • The two of them shared information, and spent some time clearing out the vines around Eret’s fortress and neighboring areas.
  • Afterwards, Foolish mentions that their work cleaning the server reminded him of the time they spent together “cleaning up that mess from the wither cult.” Eret remembers no such thing.

Foolish, confused, asks about the time they climbed a mountain fighting trolls together. To make sure that Foolish isn’t mistaking Eret for someone else, Eret removes their sunglasses, revealing their blank, pupil-less eyes. Foolish says that Eret is the correct person, and they walk away from each other, confused.

  1. Red Banquet After clearing out the blood vines, Eret continued their work on the castle and began to care for an orange sheep, named Ed Sheepram.
  2. Foolish visited them frequently, as they shared a passion for building.
  3. During his visits, Foolish continued to make passing mentions of a shared history Eret didn’t remember.

The two of them received invitations to the Red Banquet, and agreed to go; Foolish gifted them a Rolex to wear to the event. Eret still had no memory of the events Foolish remembered, and resolved to ask Foolish about their past after the Banquet ended.

The Banquet, however, was not the celebration they had hoped it would be. Badboyhalo trapped the participants in, and asked for people to come forth and receive their death in service to the Egg. Eret was the first to step forth, calling the Eggpire monsters for violating the attendees’ trust. Ponk argued that Eret was the last person to speak of trust, but Eret owned up to their own betrayal, and had learned much since then.

Hannah brought Eret over to the Execution block, where Antfrost prepared to sacrifice them. Foolish, however, challenged the captors, trying to summon his lightning to smite the Egg. However, Foolish’s powers were suppressed by his proximity to the Egg.

The members of the Eggpire mocked Foolish, and decided to sacrifice him first, returning Eret to the captive crowd. Eret watched as another friend was cut down. Soon after, Eret and the other captives were freed by a rescue team comprised of Quackity, Technoblade, and Purpled. Following the Banquet, Eret felt immense guilt over their friend’s death, but gratitude to Foolish for allowing them to live another day.

Eret constructed a totem statue to honor Foolish’s death. The two of them have yet to reconcile after the Banquet. Legacy Arc Searching for Sam On January 29, 2022 Eret, Techno, and Tubbo headed to Sam’s house to find MICHAEL’s location. Eret was initially in their castle when Tubbo and Techno came to inquire about MICHAEL.

Eret admitted they made a mistake and trusted someone they shouldn’t have. They claimed that, to protect MICHAEL from George and Sapnap, they allowed Sam to take the child somewhere safe. After Tubbo’s confrontation, they agreed to help search for MICHAEL with Technoblade and Tubbo. Eret and Tubbo also made up, the former apologizing for getting the latter killed.

The trio managed to find Sam, and after seeing everything he had done, decided to lock him in Pandora’s Vault. Eret volunteered to stay behind to switch the portals after the three had successfully imprisoned Sam, since they had a stasis pearl. Tubbo and Techno activated it after they left the prison, and the trio set out to retrieve MICHAEL from Sam’s house.

  • Since Tubbo’s house was deemed unsafe, the trio decided to take MICHAEL to Ranboo’s house.
  • While working to get the boat across the land, the three of them dubbed themselves the Revengers.
  • Boo was waiting for them, much to everyone’s surprise.
  • He made several vague comments, confusing the three of them but assisted in moving MICHAEL’s boat.

The Revengers celebrated their victory, Eret declaring they were all “based.” Tubbo agreed and Techno acknowledged they were best friends now. The three agreed to stay friends after their adventure, and went separate ways. Giving Eryn a History Lesson TBA (Eret and Eryn’s Streams 2/6).

What did Eret do wrong?

Flaws – Eret’s main flaw is their need to succeed. They betrayed their friends to become king when they thought Dream would win, but betrayed Dream when they saw that Pogtopia was more likely to win the war. They would go to whichever side is more likely to win, then betray them when they lose.

Who killed Antfrost?

Relationships –

Relationships with members
Name Notes
Awesamdude Neutral/positive Since Antfrost’s first appearance on the SMP (along with Sam’s return to the server), Ant and Sam have had a very positive relationship and were found together a lot. Ant also formed the Badlands with Sam, fought alongside him during the Second Pet War, and even attempted to move pandas to Ant’s animal sanctuary with him. However, Sam and Ant came into conflict over the Egg. Ant believed that the Egg should be protected, while Sam believed that it was evil and should be destroyed at all costs, despite Ant trying to convince him otherwise. In an attempt to indoctrinate Sam, Ant and BadBoyHalo trapped him with the Egg. Sam escaped due to Puffy’s help, but his relationship with Antfrost has worsened due to the Egg beginning to tell Sam to kill his beloved dog, Fran. Ant began to lose his trust in Sam as he was seemingly nervous around the Egg and didn’t know the plans that the Egg had for the server. At the Red Banquet, Sam tried to destroy the Egg by dropping TNT on it, but Ant and the Eggpire had prepared for this. Sam had fully revealed himself to be against the Egg, officially making them enemies. Their relationship further soured after Sam accused Ant of being partly responsible for Dream’s escape due to his taking a break from guard duty. Ant holds Sam responsible for the majority of the blame, and the two argued fiercely over this, with Sam implying he would become violent if further pressed. While talking to Bad about Sam, Ant stated that Sam no longer cared about the Badlands and had de-facto abandoned the faction, further highlighting their strained relations. Over time, their relationship healed. On the day of Puffy’s disappearance, Ant worked with Sam and Hannah to find clues at The Egg’s room. They found clues that suggested Bad’s side being corrupted by The Egg again and worked to seal the banquet room to prevent anyone from entering. Sam and Hannah defended Ant as Bad’s side blamed Ant for collaborating with The Egg. At the end of the meeting, the three agreed that it was dangerous to visit The Egg and that they had to prevent Bad’s side from entering the room.
BadBoyHalo Neutral/negative Bad and Ant have a very good relationship and can be found roaming around the server with each other a vast majority of the time they are on. Bad formed the Badlands with Ant and fought alongside him in the War of the Burning Eiffel Tower and the Second Pet War, Ant and Bad became even closer under the control of the Egg, as they both worked together to protect it and spread its influence at all costs. The pair currently regret their time under the Egg’s control. Following Puffy’s disappearance, Ant and Bad were on opposite sides. Ant believed that they should not uncover and explore the Egg, while Bad believed that saving Puffy was more important. After the two sides met in the Egg’s room, the two argued. Ant exclaimed that Bad was still controlled by the Egg and could not be trusted, claiming that Bad had lost nothing to the Egg and that the Red Banquet showed that Bad could not be trusted. After Ant killed Seapeekay, the two fought. In the end, Bad won the fight and killed Ant.
CaptainPuffy Neutral Due to Antfrost’s corruption, he turned on Puffy, who tried to convince the Eggpire to get rid of the Egg, Puffy left the Eggpire and went rogue in order to fight against Antfrost and the rest of the Eggpire, putting her on their list of enemies to eliminate. Puffy was also greatly upset about Ant and Bad celebrating Tommy’s death, breaking up their party and destroying the Eggpire’s headquarters in retaliation. At the Red Banquet, Puffy killed Ant after Quackity, Techno, and Purpled showed up. However, she also felt great regret about it and felt that she was losing her sense of self. After their mutual apologies for the occurrences at the Red Banquet, their relationship appeared to be slightly more positive, if strained due to their past.
The Egg Neutral/negative Antfrost was originally wary of the Egg, but after he became corrupted by the Egg, he became more accepting of it. He became a zealot, just like Bad, and worked to spread the message of the Egg, even going to the extent of taking other people’s lives. Whenever he saw the Egg, he complimented its growth and called it “pretty.” Content creator Antfrost has revealed out-of-universe that he was offered Red in exchange for loyalty to the Egg. Post-Red Banquet, Antfrost seemed to be opposed to the Egg, presumably no longer under its control.
Dream Neutral/negative Ant fought alongside Dream in the Manberg vs Pogtopia War to maintain chaos. During the Disc Confrontation, Ant was part of the coalition confronting Dream. Ant has not talked about Dream since then, other than when Tommy had died.
Foolish Gamers Negative Antfrost was a member of the Eggpire who helped attack Foolish’s summer home and threaten him. At the Red Banquet, when all the guests were trapped, Foolish was captured and executed by Antfrost as a sacrifice to the Egg.
Hannahxxrose Neutral/positive Antfrost played a strong role in changing Hannah’s perception of The Egg and recruiting her into the Eggpire. Hannah originally disliked The Egg and wanted the blood vines removed due to it absorbing the red of her roses and weakening her. She was supported by Sam, who attempted to protect her from Ant and Bad. Despite Sam’s attempts at protecting her, Hannah agreed to Ant and Bad’s plan of visiting The Egg to see if it would help her recover. Ant and Bad took the opportunity to trap her above The Egg, allowing it to change her view. She eventually pledged loyalty to The Egg and joined the Eggpire, working to change the views of others and eliminating detractors. After The Egg’s containment, Hannah saw The Egg as a threat that caused chaos on the server, a view that Ant also agreed with. Following Puffy’s disappearance, Ant worked with Hannah and Sam to find clues in the banquet room and Sam Bucket’s tunnels. They found clues that suggested Bad’s group working with The Egg and defended each other after Bad’s group accused them of working with The Egg. Ant, Hannah, and Sam agreed that breaking the containment and visiting The Egg to search for Puffy was a bad idea. Together, they worked to try to prevent Bad’s group from visiting The Egg.
Jack Manifold Positive Ant and Jack built the gingerbread house together. When Purpled and Ponk attempted to scam Ant and Jack of their gingerbread house, the two worked together to counter Purpled and Ponk’s scam. The two attempted to claim the Thiccatron as a countering move, but tensions rose, leading to Ant and Jack dueling against Ponk and Purpled. The battle ended in a draw, and the situation ended with no resolution. After the conflict, Ant and Jack formed an alliance, leading to Jack granting Antfrost citizenship to Manifold Land.
Nihachu Negative The two were on opposite sides during the War of the Burning Eiffel Tower, Niki attempted to negotiate with Ant, and Ant remembered that Niki was kind to him since she gave him wheat when he needed it. Ant offered to let her escape if she helped him with his zoo, and Niki agreed to help. Niki escaped, and after pretending to chase her for a while, Ant let her free. Niki was also one of the guests at the Red Banquet, where Ant and the other members of the Eggpire tried to kill them.
Ponk Neutral/negative Ponk and Antfrost didn’t have much history at all up until when Antfrost tried interacting with Ponk. Ponk responded with disgust, saying that he despises cats due to him being allergic to them, leading Antfrost to repeatedly attack him. After their initial interaction, Ponk and Antfrost encountered a fenced-in panda and blue sheep, and Ponk threatened to kill it if Antfrost didn’t answer correctly between yes or no. Ponk didn’t kill either animal despite Antfrost saying “no” which was wrong, pleasing Antfrost. However, they were on opposite sides of the Estate Conflict, souring their relationship a bit further. Ponk was trapped atop the Egg twice and slowly succumbed to the corruption. Ant was very pleased about the result. Ponk agreed to help the Eggpire by introducing Purpled as a mercenary to capture Puffy and Foolish. Ponk also helped spread the vines to Foolish’s summer house and helped organize the Red Banquet, Ant and Ponk were once again on opposing sides after Puffy disappeared. Ant, alongside Sam and Hannah, found evidence in Sam Bucket’s house that indicated that Ponk was responsible for Puffy’s disappearance. Ponk, on the other hand, found evidence alongside Bad, Eryn, and Seapeekay in Puffy’s Temple of Hype that suggested Ant being responsible. Ponk and his group wanted to enter The Egg’s room to find Puffy, but Ant and his group refused to let the containment be breached.
Purpled Negative During the Estate Conflict, Purpled and Antfrost were on opposite sides, as Purpled had attempted to scam Antfrost and Jack out of their land. Following a period of Purpled’s absence and the Egg’s invasion of the server, Ant and the Eggpire hired Purpled as an bounty hunter against Puffy for the Eggpire. For a while, their relationship was neutral. However after the events of the Red Banquet, Purpled betrayed the Eggpire, as Quackity paid him more than Bad during the original meeting.
Punz Positive Ant and Punz were usually very friendly with each other. Ant lived in his house and even helped him in the Items Conflict, However, after Punz’s betrayal in the Battle of the Lake, Antfrost felt betrayed by him. Later on, the two fought against each other in the Second Pet War, At first, Punz was infuriated at Antfrost for stealing his panda. However, their relationship was strained further as Bad blamed Punz and try to downplay the misdeed. Antfrost understood his anger and wanted to make amends by planning to gift him a new panda. In the end, the two made amends. When Punz discovered the blood vines in Bad’s underground cavern, he was distasted and concerned, causing Ant to question him. Despite Punz removing several blood vines he spotted around the SMP, the two didn’t seem to hold any grudges against each other, and Punz, although weirded out by Ant’s antics towards the mysterious red substances, seemed to be ultimately worried for his well being. After Punz joined the Eggpire and became corrupted by the Egg, Ant was more trusting towards Punz. The worked together to spread the blood vines.
Sapnap Neutral/positive Antfrost and Sapnap were on the same side in the War of the Burning Eiffel Tower, and Sapnap referred to him as a “fellow hunter.” They fought against each other in the Second Pet War, but they have not interacted much since then.
TommyInnit Negative Ant had previously been taken hostage as a slave by Techno and Tommy during the Manberg vs Pogtopia War. Additionally, he fought against each other during the Battle of the Lake. Due to Tommy being neutral towards the Egg, Ant and Bad attempted to convert Tommy to be on the Egg’s side, ruining any attempts at bettering the relationship. To make matters worse, Tommy attempted to harvest a part of the Egg to place in his Big Innit Hotel. After Tommy lost his last canon life, Ant celebrated with Bad and Punz due to them considering one of the Egg’s enemies gone.
Tubbo Negative Tubbo has tried to escape Ant and Bad’s attempts to convert him to the Eggpire, Tubbo had a strong dislike towards the Egg as well, as the Egg was mean to him.

Who does Gobber like?

is gobber gay | Fandom The story is that Dean DeBlois and Craig Ferguson shared an inside joke while Craig was recording for Gobber in HTTYD2. In the margins of Craig’s script where he was suppose to say “This is why I never married”, Dean wrote “That and one other reason”, referring to himself since he (Dean) is gay.

  1. Craig teasingly read the statement in the margins along with the official script, and Dean got such a kick out of it, that he decided to leave the line in there.
  2. After HTTYD2 came out, fans started asking what the “other reason” was, and finally in an interview Dean explained: Gobber never got married for the same reason Dean had never gotten married, therefore Gobber was also gay.

So yes, as of HTTYD2, it is confirmed that Gobber is gay. We can clearly see hints of this in HTTYD3 when during at least three different scenes, it’s quite obvious that Gobber is flirting with Eret, though Eret doesn’t return the sentiment. They were somewhat subtle about it because it’s still a touchy topic in children’s entertainment (and as much as we want to deny it, the HTTYD franchise is directed towards children).

Given “Crushing It” was one of the first RttE episodes written, and it was probably written even before HTTYD2 came out much less that line that Gobber says becoming famous, it was not yet known by even the cast and crew that Gobber would be confirmed gay. So his love interest “Bertha” was created before anyone decided that he was gay.

This happens a lot in fictional stories like HTTYD. It just reminds us that it is fictional and not real life. In universe, the best explanation to involve both Gobber’s orientation and “Bertha” is that Gobber went through a “bi-curious” phase where he was temporarily experimental with another orientation.

Does Gobber have a crush on Stoick?

Gobber has had a lowkey crush on Stoick for a very long time. As in, over a decade. There’s a mutual unspoken understanding that they’ll never go there. Gobber never bemoans this and is happy with his deep friendship with Stoick.

Were Eret and Quackity engaged?

Relationships –

Relationships with members
Name Notes
BadBoyHalo Negative Despite not interacting often, the two seem to be on good terms. They are friendly with each other when they do interact: Bad built the statue of Eret as a celebration of them winning the Taco Bell hunt, both of them went to explore Pogtopia when Wilbur and Tommy were exiled and some other small events. After visiting the Egg to get some gunpowder from the chests in the room and Bad trying to sacrifice them in an attempt to cure Skeppy, Eret has been worried about Bad’s current state and wants to make sure he is okay, unaware of the plans of The Eggpire. After getting an invitation to the Red Banquet they say that they are going to “observe the enemy” with Foolish at the event though they pretend that they do not suspect Bad has any negative intentions in front of him. At the Red Banquet, Bad and the Eggpire tried to kill Eret to sacrifice him to the Egg and then instead killed Foolish in front of him, solidifying their relationship as negative.
The Egg Opposed Eret was disturbed by the presence of the ever-growing vines on the SMP, and had helped Bad, Skeppy, and Puffy when they were attempting to bring Skeppy back. Other than that, not much is known about how the Egg would affect them. Puffy also showed them her secret pro-omelette base, and they decided to join her resistance. Later, Eret and Foolish made a secret base of operations inside Fundy’s old base, and cleaned up vines around Eret’s Fortress, Punz’s house, and other areas around the server. Eret was almost sacrificed to the Egg to give it power only avoiding that fate because Foolish took his place.
Dream Negative Dream, a mastermind at heart, has a complicated history with Eret. Although Eret was granted kingship twice and helped Dream in multiple occasions, they are aware that Dream will take away anything from them for his own benefit. Eret has been manipulated by Dream for a very long time, but often denies this to themself. They also felt a sense of freedom after Dream was imprisoned following the events of the Disc Confrontation,
Foolish Gamers Positive Foolish claims to have known Eret prior to the Dream SMP, saying they cleaned up the “mess from the wither cult” and went on adventures together, he also knows what Eret’s eyes look like and is not scared of them. Eret does not remember this and thinks Foolish might be messing with them but they get along well and destroyed some blood vines together. At the Red Banquet, Foolish tried to protect Eret from being sacrificed by the Eggpire though it resulted in him being killed instead.
Fundy Neutral/positive Eret and Fundy are close friends, often playing pranks on each other. Eret was the only person who knew of Fundy’s true intentions regarding Schlatt, but didn’t completely trust him after he burned Niki’s flag. After the Manberg vs Pogtopia War, Eret considered adopting him, creating a “Certificate of Adoption.” Fundy agreed with the idea, but stated the document cannot be active without Philza’s consent. On the day of the adoption, Eret failed to appear, disappointing Fundy.
Ghostbur Positive Ghostbur did not remember Eret, but was convinced they were “the only mean person on the server, the bad guy,” due to what he had read about the L’Manberg War for Independence, and the line “fuck Eret” in the L’Manberg National Anthem, However, they were friendly towards one another when they spoke after the Doomsday War. Ghostbur decided that Eret is not a bad guy after all, and asked them for their help in reviving him. He’s also said that, once he’s brought back to life, he’s going to amend the National Anthem to say something to the effect of “and Eret.”
HBomb Positive Eret and HBomb have been close friends ever since HBomb joined the server, Eret giving him a place to stay in their castle. While Eret was on the search of Knights to create a round table, HBomb became one of the first ones, the other one being CaptainPuffy, As of January 19, 2021, HBomb has left his residence in the castle due to other members of the SMP never recognizing him and stealing from him, thinking his stuff belonged to Eret. Eret themself, however, said that they were proud of him for finally going off on his own.
Karl Jacobs Neutral/negative Eret and Karl used to hang out together and joke around a lot. They often clean up the land around the server and build together. After the conflict with El Rapids, Eret doesn’t seem to be too fond of him, saying that they thought he would be the only one who wanted to kill Karl when the meeting in the Holy Land was going on.
Nihachu Positive Eret and Niki are very close friends, she is one of the only original members of L’Manberg who doesn’t remind them of their betrayal believing that they have changed for the better. They worked together on a plan to blow up the Second White House at one point during The Rebellion and Eret helped Niki escape jail when Schlatt imprisoned her. Eret supported Niki’s neutral ideas during the Doomsday War, but seemed to be disappointed in her when she burned down the L’Mantree and betrayed L’Manberg. Quoting their own betrayal in the process, that she supposedly didn’t care or think about. Despite this, Eret and Niki have kept in contact and they have seemingly forgiven her for these actions, believing in her as she did in them.
Philza Neutral Due to Phil and Techno’s dislike of the government and role as anarchists, they both disapprove of Eret because of their role as king. Phil turned Eret away from Techno’s property, saying they couldn’t stay there because of this. Eret seemed upset by this, saying they only want to use their role as king to help people. Also, Eret didn’t show up to Fundy’s adoption, and Phil, as Fundy’s current legal guardian, was displeased by this. However, Phil seemed willing to let Eret adopt Fundy, and they worked together for Wilbur’s resurrection so it’s an overall neutral relationship.
CaptainPuffy Positive Puffy and Eret’s relationship has gotten better since her sheep prank with his wool. They often play jokes on each other, and Puffy is also sworn to be one of their first knights, along with HBomb, and fought alongside them in the conflict with El Rapids, Puffy often questions her duty as a knight on the server, as well as Eret’s title as king. She plans to talk to them, yet it is unknown what she wants to achieve with this. Puffy also showed them her secret pro-omelette base, and they decided to join her resistance.
Quackity Neutral/negative Eret had gained a somewhat negative relationship with Quackity after he got Schlatt into power. On Election Night, Quackity and Eret were to be married. However, this failed, as Quackity believed Eret to be a ghost and killed them, causing Eret to call him a bastard. The two occasionally talk, revealing that they still have some sort of relationship. After the conflict with El Rapids, the two seem to have an even more tense relationship, despite the agreement with the country.
Technoblade Positive Eret understands Techno’s role as a traitor and called on Techno to assassinate King George for them. Eret later hung out in Techno’s base and kept his horse, Carl, safe when they found him. Due to Eret’s position as king and Techno’s anarchist worldviews, Techno is likely to come into conflict with Eret in the future, but Eret themself seems unaware of the Syndicate and its plans. After he, Techno, and Tubbo save MICHAEL, Tubbo’s child, they split ways on positive terms.
TommyInnit Neutral/positive Tommy was initially fond of Eret, as he was keen on being their friend when they first joined the server. However, after Eret’s devastating betrayal during the Dream Team SMP vs. L’Manberg War, Tommy’s tone changed drastically. It appeared that Tommy had a great vendetta for Eret, consistently speaking poorly of them whenever he got the chance. Eret attempted to assist Tommy in his Pogtopian endeavors, but they were immediately shut down every time. Eventually, Tommy accepted Eret’s willingness to help and fought alongside them during the Manberg vs Pogtopia War, However, after being exiled by Tubbo, Tommy still refuses help from Eret and admits that it’s because he still holds a grudge for Eret’s initial betrayal. However, it seems like Tommy has forgiven Eret, calling them the True King during the final battle of the Dream SMP. Eret showed up to help Tommy and Tubbo during the Disc Confrontation and their relationship now seems overall positive. Upon finding out about Tommy’s death Eret was very upset and somewhat blamed themself for not being there.
Tubbo Positive Tubbo and Eret have a good relationship. Eret often talks to Tubbo and they build a lot together. After saving MICHAEL, Tubbo and Eret have an even better relationship than before.
Wilbur Soot Neutral Wilbur sees Eret as nothing but a traitor, often cursing them out. Eret wanted to help Pogtopia, but Wilbur refused to let them. Wilbur was also a role model for Eret regarding his ability to rally a group of people to a common cause and give them a sense of hope. This, along with the fact that they wanted Wilbur to forgive them for what they did, is the reason why Eret wanted to help with Wilbur’s resurrection.

Does Gobber like Stoick?

Opinion on Gobber x Stoik Anonymous There’s something cute about Stobber. I’m of the opinion that, canonically, it’s an unrequited dynamic: Gobber has had some here-and-there romantic feelings for Stoick, but Stoick has not reciprocated. The two live as friends and accept that they are always friends and Gobber never pushes for them to be anything other than friends In truth, I don’t think Gobber has even suggested to Stoick aloud that he’s had some feelings for the chief.

But both of them know that the feelings are sort of there. I wouldn’t be surprised if Gobber had a larger crush on Stoick when they were much younger. As they grew to be incredible friends, I imagine that Gobber easily thought of Stoick as a friend and friend alone, and the crush feelings subsided. Gobber is completely and utterly happy with this arrangement and doesn’t really consciously think about Stoick in a romantic fashion.

Not in the present day. However, I would say what we see now is a little historic residue that unconsciously pops up – now and then – in the form of Gobber’s endearing foot-in-mouth disease. Within especially Riders and Defenders of Berk, I think we see Gobber’s old, unexpressed not-so-platonic feelings rise to the surface.

  • For instance, when Gobber gets deliriously sick in The Eel Effect, he starts to try to kiss Stoick.
  • Stoick semi-calmly diffuses the situation.
  • Another time, Gobber begins to recount a dream he had where Stoick was involved, but Stoick quickly halts the conversation before the other Viking can say exactly what he and Stoick were doing together in that dream.

In yet another episode, Gobber accidentally ropes Stoick close to him with Hiccup’s shield something that makes both men feel very uncomfortable. Gobber never intentionally tries to hit on Stoick, but Gobber can be an awkward individual to be around, and some of his awkward interactions have led his best friend to figure out the not-platonic aspects that have been in Gobber’s head.

Stoick knows. Gobber knows. It’s why they can get uncomfortable and why Stoick sometimes tells Gobber to stop talking about the two of them. I believe Stoick has zero problems with Gobber’s sexuality. I’m sure that if Gobber found a man to enter a relationship with, Stoick would be the first to give hearty congratulations and a strong pat on the back or hug.

Stoick and Gobber just both know that Stoick was a married man with a wife, and that these two men are set in life to be friends. I love the fact that, regardless, Gobber has entered the Haddocks as essentially family, and everyone knows and recognizes this.

Hiccup in Viking for Hire mentions to his father that Gobber is practically family. We see Gobber interceding between Stoick and Hiccup in HTTYD deleted scenes. He’s integrally connected in the family dynamics. When the Haddocks reunite in HTTYD 2, Gobber enters the family hug and announces he’ll do the cooking.

Gobber has basically become family for the Haddocks – he’s been with Stoick through it all, raising Hiccup, supporting the family, and caring for them deeply. As far as fanon and headcanon is concerned, I do think there is a cute appeal to Stobber. Stoick x Gobber can be cute! Canonically, I think that it’s a one-way street, but pairing them together in fandom imagination can be cute, too.
