Once published, if the book is best-seller quality, it will spit out royalty checks between $200-800 every day for roughly 20 days.

Photography is more profitable than you may assume, as high-quality photos can sell for a good amount of money. Your Sims can also trade their items with other Sims, which they can also sell or keep for themselves if the item is particularly nice. If you have Dine Out, opening a restaurant is another way to make money actively. Much like retail, it involves investing in a business, building your skills, and keeping your customers happy.

Your Sim can take on any role in the business, and you can hire others to act as hosts, serving staff, or chefs alongside you. Managing everything can be tricky, especially when you start, but get it right and the Simoleons will flow. Also, you won’t have to attend the restaurant every day if your employees are good enough.

• Staying at home and watching the money come in is worth the effort you put into the business.
• If you have the Bust the Dust kit, it’s not totally bad if you don’t clean up around the house all the time.

   • To turn your Sim’s needs back on, simply press ⇧ Shift while left-clicking on your Sim and then select Enable Needs Decay, If you’re on console, press A + B (on Xbox) or ✕ + O (on Playstation) while hovering over the Sim; then, select Enable Motive Decay from the Cheat Motive menu.

   • This hack gives you the option to adjust either your household’s needs or the needs of your entire Sim universe. Choose wisely!

Why won’t my Sim do any actions in Sims 4? – Sometimes your Sims get stuck in The Sims 4, but you can reset them with the “resetSim” command in the cheat window. You may want or need to reset your Sims if they become stuck or unresponsive. There are two ways you can reset your Sim. For either, open the cheat window by pressing CTRL + Shift + C.

Why is my Sims custom content not working?

Some custom content will need a certain Expansion, Game or Stuff Pack for it to show up in game. The description of the downloaded creation on TSR should in that case give info about what is needed. Some creations can be made as a recolor variation of an in game item, instead of showing up a seperate item. Those can sometimes be hard to find. When using the game filters for only showing ‘custom content’, creations should be easier to find. Some CAS creations will only show up if you remove the default male/female setting in the filter. Some creations will need the game to be fully updated to show up correctly. This can be the case when something is cloned that was added by one of the game patches. Having an unpatched game or a non-official version of the game will cause some CC to not show up in game. Lots, rooms and Sims that are not showing up in your Gallery might also need a specific Pack or other custom content that is currently not installed on your computer. By default your Gallery will hide Lots and Sims that need something that is not installed. In the Gallery settings you can change the settings to make those Lots and Sims show up as well.
