And don’t worry: when rings are resized, all stones are checked for looseness and your jeweler will tighten them in the resizing process.

Finally, depending upon what is needed to be done, the cost and timing for resizing vary. A simple job can cost as low as $20, but a more complex resize can cost hundreds of dollars. Make sure to talk to your jeweler up front to discuss costs and any difficulties that may arise. The process usually takes 2-3 weeks, so plan accordingly.
