How A Realist Hero Rebuilt The Kingdom has been quite popular among anime fans around the world. Who does Kazuya Souma end up with?
Background – Kazuya, along with his late grandfather, are the only members left in the Souma family. When Kazuya’s grandfather dies, he is a 19-year-old modern Japanese person and a soon-to-be-university student who has just graduated from high school.
- Before his grandfather passes away, he advises Kazuya to marry and live a happy life.
- Souma was summoned to the Kingdom of Elfrieden shortly after the burial, out of desperation, due to the kingdom’s inability to pay war payments to the Gran Chaos Empire.
- Instead of being given over to the Empire, Souma persuaded King Elfrieden that it was feasible to gather the funds necessary to pay the tribute, as well as undertake reforms and plans to address food shortages, reinforce the army, and improve the entire economy.
So delighted was Alfred Elfrieden that he decided to relinquish his position as ruler and pass it over to Souma. He also proposed to Souma’s daughter, Liscia Elfrieden. To everyone’s amazement, Souma was able to obtain enough money in two days to pay the war contribution by selling off unwanted national treasures.
He was also able to assemble the subordinates he needed to solve the food crisis, develop the economy, and entertain and enlighten the populace by using the Royal Jewel Broadcast as a type of mass-media system. His use of modern-day tactics and Earth concepts also helped him win the One Week War against the rebellious dukes Georg Carmine and Castor Vargas, as well as Amidonia, which led to the latter’s annexation, Gaius’s death, Julius’s exile, and the merging of Elfrieden and Friedonia into one country: Friedonia.
Liscia Elfrieden, Aisha Udgard, Roroa Amidonia, Juna Doma, and Naden Delal are his five wives, whom he engaged and later married. He’s also formed a clandestine alliance with the Gran Chaos Empire, as well as a Tripartite Medical Alliance with the Empire and the Republic of Turgis.

Does Souma marry Erina?
Fanbook Translations – Actually in the final epilogue of Le Dessert, Tsukuda wanted Soma and Erina to get married. However he couldn’t fit it into the storyboard so in the end he’s decided that it’s still too early for them to reach that stage. In the anime “Macross”, there’s a character called Basara Nekki who only thought about Music and the people around him were crazy about his music. So Tsukuda did some romantic progress by making Soma realized his feeling and made an oath to Erina in his heart (using inner monologue instead of verbally). Hayama is the only character who got married. Soma and Erina’s relationship (the context is that eventually they will end up marry each other only Tsukuda didn’t want to explain how) and the future of their friends is up to our imagination.
The fanbook showed that the characters who are confirmed having love interests are Soma, Erina, Shinomiya, Mizuhara, Hayama and Hinako. It never exactly stated who Hayama’s wife is but based on Hayama’s gossip section in the fanbook it most likely to be Jun. Tsukuda received a lot of letters from the readers asking who Soma would end up with.
So the author decided to add Asahi into the story to make Soma realize his feeling to Erina. The scene where the girls gathered together in Polar Star talking about Erina’s ideal type is the editor’s idea to make her awares of romance. There’s a reason why Tsukuda made a lot of duos and made them always stick together (he gave the example of Soma/Megumi and Ryo/Alice) in the series, it’s because he needed a third party to illustrate the shokugeki. He NEVER intended for them to become couples.
Will Kingdom season 3 continue?
Kingdom Season 3 will return shortly with an even more intriguing storyline and characters. Here are a handful of characters we’re looking forward to. Netflix It is abundantly clear that the Korean industry is among the best in the world when it comes to creating zombie TV shows and movies, It has been repeatedly seen in films, and TV shows, including Train to Busan, Alive, All of Us are Dead, and Rampant,
Nonetheless, Kingdom influenced audiences the most in recent years, thanks to its distinctive Joseon Period setting and the most intelligible explanation of how the zombie virus originated. It stands out from other zombie shows thanks to its fast-paced action, plot twists involving imperial politics, and outstanding characters.
When it premiered in 2019, Kingdom immediately became a global phenomenon. It chronicled Crown Prince Lee Chang’s struggle to evade his Queen stepmother and eventually fighting for survival against fast-moving zombies. The first season focused on the emergence of the zombie virus and how these undead monsters behaved, while the second season delved deeper into the question of how to defeat them.
Is Kingdom season 3 out?
Kingdom Season 3 release date – Netflix hasn’t formally announced a Kingdom season 3 release date as of February 2023, and we have no idea if the programme will ever be approved. Current global events are believed to have contributed to some of the delays around the renewal.
- In essence, nobody wants to watch a drama about a terrible illness while there is a global epidemic.
- Because the series deals with a pandemic, I think it’s inevitable that the show is compared to the current reality and affected by it, whether it be good or bad,” Kingdom writer Kim Eun-hee told The Hollywood Reporter.
“Although the series is a product of the creators’ wild imagination, I hope the epidemic will soon be under control like in our series.” Yet, there are undoubtedly more, business-related reasons why there hasn’t been a renewal. While Ashin of the North, the companion special, debuted on the streaming site with a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the second season did not.
Is Kingdom season 3 happening?
Kingdom Season 3 release date speculation – As of July 2023, Netflix hasn’t officially confirmed a release date for Kingdom season 3, and we don’t know whether the show will even get the green light. The delays around the renewal are thought to have been caused, in part, by current world events. Basically, no one wants to watch a show about a deadly plague during a worldwide pandemic. “Because the series deals with a pandemic, I think it’s inevitable that the show is compared to the current reality and affected by it, whether it be good or bad,” Kingdom writer Kim Eun-hee told The Hollywood Reporter, “Although the series is a product of the creators’ wild imagination, I hope the epidemic will soon be under control like in our series.” Still, there are probably other, more business-minded reasons why a renewal hasn’t been forthcoming.
- While the second season reported a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the follow-up special Ashin of the North failed to make a splash when it arrived on the streaming service, not even cracking the top ten in America and the UK (Via FlixPatrol ).
- Still, Netflix hasn’t officially canceled the series yet, so there’s hope that Kingdom season 3 may see the light of day.
Perhaps when production hell is full, dead TV series will walk. Either way, we’ll keep you updated.

Does Kazuya end up with Liscia?
Biography – Liscia is the princess of Elfrieden and the daughter of Albert. In her title of Princess, she graduated from a military academy and possesses an Officer title. Her social position itself isn’t that high, but due to her high birth, she often gets orders to go around to each regional army for sympathy calls and the like.
- She was on one of those missions just now but upon hearing of her Father’s sudden abdication she came in a big hurry.
- Her first meeting with her fiancee was an awkward one as she was immediately recruited to help with the mountains of paperwork; due to the fact he was exasperated and didn’t look up to see who he was talking to (since the education level of Liscia’s world is way behind his own meant there was a terrible lack of efficienct personnel).
She would later witness the reforms and innovations brought by Kazuya Souma to bring Elfrieden out of its recession, solve the food crisis and pay off the war tribute. She was even more surprised by Kazuya ate in the cafeteria, rather the dining hall; deeming it a waste of money and time.
- During the Final Counsel of the Three Dukes, prior to One Week War, Liscia would cut short her hair to prove her determination and loyalty to Kazuya.
- She would distinguish herself on the battlefield outside of the city of Van,
- Liscia would continue to actively support Kazuya during his political moves and his travels, frequently offering her own input on various situations.
She was more understanding about his subsequent engagements to Aisha Udgard, Roroa Amidonia, Juna Doma and later Naden Delal than Kazuya initially was. During this time, Kazuya would confess his own love for her, making her the first of his fiancées that he would fully reciprocate feelings towards.
- After the visit of Mary Valenti and the attempted moves by the Orthodox Papal State, Kazuya and Liscia would take their relationship to the next level and begin their intimate relations.
- Although Liscia was not against Kazuya furthering his relationships with his other fiancées, they mutually agreed to allow Liscia to bear the first heir before any such movements were made.
The fiancées would also agree to cooperatively act as mothers to all children born. This second agreement would later cause Liscia some distress. During the return from the Star Dragon Mountain Range and Kazuya’s trip to the Republic of Turgis, Liscia falls ill, but it is later revealed that she is pregnant.
She would later reveal that she is carrying twins in passing, shocking Kazuya who had not been informed by that point of the twins element. She would stay in the country with her parents until shortly after the twins were born. After returning with the twins to the castle, Liscia would resume most of her various duties, though she would lament not being able to travel or participate in combat training exercises.
She would later participate in the Combat Music experiment that was part of Morse Butchy ‘s work songs thesis where she would go toe-to-toe with Aisha in a magic duel. Liscia would marry Kazuya alongside Aisha, Roroa, Juna and Naden on the day of his coronation, officially becoming the First Primary Queen.
The pair revealed the twins Cian Elfrieden and Kazuha Elfrieden to the public after the official ceremony. As mentioned, Liscia would have some distress as the twins began to talk. This is because the twins seemed to acknowledge all of the queens as ‘Ma’ rather than Liscia specifically. Her distress was also impacted by the fact that the twins learned Carla ‘s (though they currently pronounce it as ‘Cawla’) name first.
Liscia is currently in Parnam, taking care of the twins and acting as the head of state when Kazuya is traveling due to her position as First Primary Queen.
Will Black Summoner have a season 2?
Black Summoner Season 2 Release Date: Will there be season 2 of Black Summoner? – © Satelight Currently, there is no official announcement regarding the renewal or cancellation of Black Summoner Season 2. However, considering the popularity and success of the first season, there is a high chance that the anime will get a green light for another season.
The first season covered the first five volumes of the light novel series, which has 18 volumes as of April 2023. This means there is enough source material for a second season and possibly more. If we assume that Black Summoner Season 2 will follow a similar production schedule as the first season, which took about a year to complete, then we can expect the second season to premiere sometime in 2024.
Of course, this is just speculation and we will have to wait for an official confirmation from the studio or the publisher.

Is Arifureta a harem?
7 /10 An anime that can’t decide what it wants to be. Warning: Spoilers The first half of the series had a grim tone which was a refreshing from the typical Isekai, the protagonist having been betrayed and abandoned was darkly committed to survival at all costs.
Original story (up to 5.5) was enjoyable and gets better around episode 10.Good Intro Music.Animation is consistent (with some exceptions).Original Protagonist “Experience” growth was unique and enjoyable.”Intermission” storyboard / concept art displays during the episode break was a nice touch.”Harem” trope isn’t terribly done, and picking up an abandoned child and more or less adopting her was change from the typical cliches.Character growth does happen, even as the show fights to decide on its theme, and some of it is well done.
Cons:
Overly caustic protagonist after episode 5.5.Loli Factor (yes she’s a 300+ old vampire but.).CGI used during some episodes is lower quality and it can be jarring.Past Episode 5.5 the Protagonists interaction with the others in the world becomes very caustic, as a setup for later growth it can work, but it’s jarring and unneeded at times.Equipment / Items past episodes 5.5 are a bit “unrealistic”. I’m totally fine with guns in a fantasy world but the main character making a Motorcycle and Hummer is a bit too much.Deus Ex Machina factor gets a little silly.”Ecchi” moments (Dragon encounter for example) are silly (but in the anime’s defense it could be worse).Monster Dynamic changed part way in, originally left corpses (hence the protagonists special ability / power ups) and then suddenly they start vanishing upon death.
Arifureta squandered a chance to be great inits first season, but it is memorable and watchable, even if it seems like it’s fighting itself.17 out of 19 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? Sign in to vote. Permalink 8 /10 Interesting and Unusual You know how in a lot of anime the main character is a boy somewhere around 12 to 15 years old, just hitting puberty.
- He’s got a good heart but he’s kind of a loser.
- He’s socially clumsy.
- He gets bullied and he never really fights back but somehow, he always comes through in the clutch.
- That’s how our hero is in this series in the first episode, except that he is 17.
- What follows is not a spoiler because it all happens in the first episode.
By the way, the anime starts somewhere around the third chapter of the manga. The anime just sort of starts in the middle. There is no real explanation of what is going on other than a few hints. It’s a fairly obvious plot. You’ve seen it plenty of times.
A high school class is suddenly sucked into another world where they must fight monsters and demons. You don’t really see that happen. It is sort of alluded to in flashes. The story really starts when the boy-hero falls into an abyss. There he manages to survive long enough to eat some monster meat. This gives him more powers.
He then uses his newly acquired powers to kill more monsters and acquire more powers. In the meantime, he comes to believe that the world has always had it in for him and his only course of action is to become ruthless and to take what he wants without compunction.
He becomes single-minded in his desire to win at any cost, and yet there remains a deeply buried sense of good. It’s very unusual for an anime boy-hero to be this decisive and to put his decisions into action without hesitation, even if those actions contravene accepted norms of social behavior. The title word means mundane, ordinary.
That’s what the boy-hero is at the beginning but he certainly doesn’t stay that way long.13 out of 19 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? Sign in to vote. Permalink 8 /10 Was really hesitant at first, but it turned out to be pretty awesome! The first episode wasn’t really that great, it was a bit too predictable and the animation was bad, particularly for the monster fight scenes.
- However, it got steadily better.
- The MC was pretty awesome and feels dark, sort of like Naofumi from Shield Hero.
- To be perfectly honest, Arifureta seems like the love child of Shield Hero and DanMachi, but with bad animation and some awkward but funny fanservice.
- However, its story was pretty good and intriguing.

- Permalink 9 /10 Awesome! Warning: Spoilers As far as Anime’s go, this is one of my favorites.
- I like the storyline with Hajime being brought to a different world with his classmates.
- He’s just a behind the scenes weakling in the new world and is betrayed by one of his classmates, I think for a girl, where he is left for dead by his class and teacher.
When awakes in the Labyrinth several floors down, he does whatever he has to in order to survive which means eating the monsters with magic water in order to gain their abilities and strength. Slowly he turns into a quite the accomplished killer and his personality changes from the Meek classmate to the “I don’t care about anyone” Badass.
I love the fact he makes it to the end of the labyrinth and inherits God-like power as well as picking up the only Vampire left who is 400 or 500 years old and falls in love with him. From that point on it’s all about gaining power to find a way to go back to his own world while he picks up girls along the way and makes them strong.
Basically, it becomes the Harem type of plots. At the end of Season 1, he has now made it back full circle back to the original Labyrinth to save his classmates who thought he had died there months before. The writers have turned him into that Gruff, Unemotional, Indifferent, Sarcastic character with immense God-like magic abilities that does what he wants.
- He’s a dark hero that always does the right thing, though his way may be less than acceptable by all the other characters.
- He will kill anyone in his way.
- He has a “Batman” quality with a “Deadpool” murderous quality to him.
- His sarcasm isn’t as over the top as “Deadpool”, but it’s in the same category.
I’m looking forward to this Anime continuing. It’s fun to watch the betrayed weakling turn into such a badass and just kick everyone’ 11 out of 19 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? - Now i 1st season was nice, something to watch and a good premise of dungeon delving who dunnit.
- However by the half way point of the season the main character goes from loser to “all I do is win, win, win, win” with a asshole additude to everyone,
- All because a school mate tries to kill him e.1 meets a vampire in an 12 year old body and trauma bonds with.
In second season he is only nice to the girls that look like children (cring) and blatantly tells the girl who knew him befor the power change that she was getting in the way and to get lost because she wanted to be with him even befor that point and had his back when he was weak.

- Permalink Had great potential but turns to crap at ep6 This series had great potential, starts off really serious and dark but the tone completely changes from episode 6.
- They obviously tried their hand at commedy/harem but failed miserably to deliver anything funny or thrilling.
The character design is really nice, but everything else looks like grey goo with uninspired design and one of the worst animation I have ever seen. I read that the manga is fantastic, but the anime failed to find its identity and couldn’t stick to a genre.
If I was to ignore the horrible animation for the first 5 episodes, it would get a very strong 8/10. The rest barely qualifies as OK time killer.7 out of 13 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? Sign in to vote. Permalink 9 /10 Very nice all in all Finally a straight edge main hero who displays some good judgement.
As when he finds a certain someone sealed in a heavily guarded dungeon he’s like: “ok, there must be a reason for this” and is cautious. So good to see this, as opposed to predictable boring anime-style: “oh no this person is locked up, we must help him/her no matter what, how or when”.
- Another plus is that the anime is fast paced.
- There is actually progress.
- Bang bang and they are on floor 100 already.
- Not like black clover for instance where you’d be stuck on 1 floor with 20 fillers and 15 flashbacks stretched over 30 episodes.
- It’s also nice how the main hero does actually kill monsters instead of the usual silly mumbo jumbo you can expect in other anime: “oh no we must let everyone live no matter what blah-blah”.
The only major letdown is how the big monsters are drawn out and animated. Almost painful to watch. You are left wondering what on earth happened there, did they not have enough budget for that or time (or likely both). Well, you’ll see for yourself Finally they actually kiss in this anime instead of acting like children are found in cabbage all the time.
This to me is a big plus, adds emotional depth to the show and is a refreshing differentiation from what we see almost everywhere else.8 out of 15 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? Permalink 3 /10 Painfully below avg Warning: Spoilers Throughout the show there are times where the pacing of the plot is entirely too slow, lets compare it to “That time i got reincarnated as a slime”, This show, at times, also has extremely slow pacing but it makes up for it in World building and plot development but in Arifureta there can be a 10 minute gap between you starting and finishing an episode and there wont be any major development or any development at all, but on another note even the basic storyline is boring.
Its plot can be sumed up in the most undescriptive of ways and still be extremely accurate. Edge lord gets betrayed, edge lord survives betrayl, edge lord picks up loli, edgelord picks up bunny girl(this is the entire plotlist of major development throughout the series)Idk if this is bc theres just not enough source material to fit into a 12 episode basis from the manga.
Im just definitely not surprised that an anime made in 2019 still hasn’t gotten a season 2 even in 2021.3 out of 4 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? Sign in to vote. Permalink 10 /10 Eagerly awaiting season 3 This is still by far one of my favorite isekais. Hagime can be cold and brutal, yet still will allow himself to care when he needs to.
Yue is nothing if not patient so long as she’s Hagime’s number one. Tio is just a freak, Shea is spunky and can be almost rabid at times, and Myu is simply adorable. I really wanna see how this god situation turns out, what Kaori can do with her new body, and what Hagime plans to do with his classmates given how impatient and goal oriented he is.
- Also, I feel like those that didn’t even bother to watch an entire season shouldn’t be able to leave reviews – that’s just not fair to any anime.1 out of 2 found this helpful.

- Enjoyment wise, Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou does have an enjoyable start, which gives you a hope that Hajime Nagumo is going to become a new, interesting protagonist that has his ideals, desires. And as we all know everybody has a different opinion.Rating wise I was thinking it will turn out to be a bad anime but it still kept me entertained. As I said everybody has different opinion for some people it is good and for some people it is not.
Overall it’s still worth watching, don’t let the rating fool you. It’s 6.6 but still it is better than that. And the opening is full English to be honest.6 out of 14 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? Sign in to vote. Permalink 6 /10 very bad visuals.
U actually have read the whole damn arifureta LN and WN, the story is just so damn good but when it comes to anime i am disappointed, you know the reason right it just have so mediocre Animations, goofy music and skipping storyline. i have expected much from Funimation.5 out of 12 found this helpful.

Gives me very much not okay vibes that he’s 17 and his “lover” is a vampire who’s supposed to be 300 smtn years old but has the appearance of a 12 year old? That’s my biggest issue with this show.
I love anime but I wish they didn’t do stuff like that and ruin them. Felt gross watching it after that because there are points that are hinting at sexual stuff happening between the 2 and it’s just weird. Other than the creepy pedo vibe with the vampire girl the rest would have been okay. It’s pretty much just a dude wandering around adding random girls to his group who all want to get with him and the story line gets lost in all the bs of these chicks fighting over him constantly 🙄 The character development is okay but dude did a complete 360 personality change and isn’t even close to the kind caring character at the beginning.
It’s not the greatest anime in my opinion. The fight scenes are cool with the different types of attacks/powers but it’s deff basically a weird Hentai vibe and some of the monster scenes are terrible animation. Like the Dragonborn. Just not great over all.3 out of 4 found this helpful.

Does Souma love Liscia?
We finally witnessed the much-awaited confrontation between Souma and Liscia in the finale of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, Not only that, but we also got to know something unexpected from King Albert. Looking back on the previous episodes of the anime, Liscia’s parents didn’t even have screen time until episode 25. Albert and Elisha, contemplating the things they did When King Albert saw Souma, he confessed his so-called “horrible” act. It was revealed that Elisha has the power to transfer the memories of the future to the people of the past. What really happened is that the future Elisha transferred her memory to Albert in the past, which is also the Albert we knew from the anime.
In those memories, Souma only became a prime minister, and Albert relinquished his responsibilities after a certain amount of time because of the corrupt nobles’ pleas. Though it led to the downfall of Elfrieden because the people revolted and the Principality of Amidonia took advantage of it. Well, if you are familiar with the tactic called “Divide and Conquer”, that’s what the Principality used to defeat Elfrieden.
In that timeline, it seems that Souma and Liscia also loved each other, but the location where they were hiding was reduced to dust, and there were no remains of them. Thus, Albert and Elisha considered Souma and Liscia dead. Just before Albert and Elisha die, they decided to transfer their memory to their past selves, so that they won’t make the same mistakes.
As a result, Albert made Souma the king in episode 1 of the series. Then, as you can see in the previous episodes, Souma won all the wars and was able to invade the Principality of Amidonia. He even merged the two territories into one, renaming their lands to “Kingdom of Friedonia”. Souma also managed to eliminate all the corrupt nobles, including their relatives, and was able to provide solutions to almost all of the problems of the kingdom, such as poverty, slavery, education, corruption, sanitation, economy, foot shortage, refugees, and many more.
This proves that what Albert saw really did save the kingdom and appointing Souma as the next king was really the right move. Albert from the future, saying that Souma should be the king This is really mindblowing for me. I rewatched the episode, and I’m still having goosebumps because of it. I know that this anime was set in a fantasy world but I didn’t expect that the biggest plot twist in the story has something to do with the future.
For me, this is a “big brain” moment. I’m sure this answers some of the questions like “why did Albert suddenly make Souma the king, even though they’ve only just met?”, or “Why did Georg Carmine commit suicide?”. Though, because of these events, the story only revolved around Souma solving the problems of the kingdom, that’s why he didn’t have the chance to spend fluffy moments with Liscia, even though they were already engaged.
Because of the truth, Souma’s love for Liscia grew even stronger. Based on my understanding, Souma is really touched because he was able to prove that no matter what timeline they are living in, Liscia will always be by his side. Come to think of it, Liscia was also the reason why he managed to accomplish so many things in the kingdom.
To put it simply, even though Souma is the king, it will only be legitimate if he was engaged with Liscia so that he can become an Elfrieden. Liscia also accepted him, supported his reforms, and always believed that Souma’s actions will always lead Elfrieden to a better future. Well, Souma took the throne for only 6 months so far, so there’s a possibility, that he might make some mistakes in the future since he is only just starting.
Though I doubt that Liscia will leave her if he made a mistake. When Souma doesn’t have work, he is always spending time with Liscia. In the previous episode of the anime, Liscia is the only one who got special treatment from Souma among his concubines.
And in the season finale of Realist Hero, Souma finally confessed her feelings to Liscia for the first time. At last, he finally said “I love you” to Liscia, and of course, Liscia did the same. We were also able to witness the first kissing scene in the anime. Finally, it took them 26 episodes to convey their feelings to each other.
I was waiting for this moment since the 2nd episode of the series. Liscia’ saying “I love you” to Souma This is a really satisfying moment, and finally, my long wait for this scene is finally over. I’d say this is a perfect way to wrap up the anime. The season finale of Realist Hero anime, and at the same time, a moment that will make your heart race.

7 Better Than It Should Have Been: How A Realist Hero Rebuilt The Kingdom Develops An Isekai Unlike Most – How A Realist Hero Rebuilt The Kingdom was definitely a better show before it added its harem elements, but it’s still one of the better isekai series that came out in 2021. The show is about a protagonist who was meant to be sold to another country after being summoned from his world, but he’s just so smart he’s able to re-organize their books and make them enough money so that doesn’t have to happen.

What chapter does realist hero end?
Manga’s last chapter is 43 which is the Mecha Glasses green hair scientist girl from a couple episodes ago. If you wanted to read the manga is quite behind so I would suggest to continue with the novels instead if you want to know more about the series.
